I have done a mistake by opening the software by right clicking on the icon then i opened with firefox browser and all the desktop icons, softwares converted to firefox browser. How to do i replace it in windows 7?
If you go into internet options in the browser...you should be able to select the default browser. Set it to the one you want and that MAY take care of your problem. That worked for me in Vista but I haven't tried 7 yet. Just thought it may work for you too.
I think I got your problem, basically you change the .exe extension to open in firefox. Now, you will need to right click on them again (one by one) and change back to there correct one.
I have tried to open again the software by right clicking on the icon selecting "open with" selected "choose default program" then i selected the software by going into the c programs and found the actual icon and clicked ok all the icons in the desktop again have been changed into the icon i selected in the c programs.
