Simply use the latest winRAR (like 3.6 or so) and extract the ZIP files and combine them into a RAR file :)

I think he meant how to "un-pack" a rar file.

You will need to download and install WinRAR then you should be able to "un-zip or un-pack" the file you have downloaded from the internet.

If you need a copy of WinRAR taktionlist send me a message and I'll fix you up.

Honest answer? I'd get another "professional" company. Between not accepting a zip file and having them tell you to make a "winrar" file shows their lack of professionalism.

If you have a copy of your site handy and you're running windows, once you install winrar, do a right click off of the directory your site sits in and there'll be an option to "Add to directoryname.rar". Choose that to make the *.rar file. That's what they want.

That doesn;t give us much to go on. What specifically isn't working? It's always a plus to give details and specifics.

Did you do the download directory from the Rarlabs website? I just checked, they do have a version of the program for Mac OS X - is that what you're using?

It might be worthwhile to either give a quick read to the documentation or post some images of the screens you're seeing so that someone can give you some feedback.
