    I think you can capture images from videos with the "VCD Cutter" software. I have used this software few years back when I had to generate pics from video of my annual school festival.

    Its alright, i found a program called Image Grabber II that does the job thanks anyway though sufi

    vcd cutter is great, i used to cut a lot of clips using that!
    jet audio also do it!

    i used to have another software that did this work, can't remember the name at the moment! i suggest you to go to download.com and search for it, there will be a lot of those:)

    * Open Window Media Player
    * Then go to Tools | Options
    * In Options, select the Performance Tab
    * Way below you click on the Advanced Button
    * Uncheck “Use Overlays’
    * Click Ok

    Then Play the Movie and press Print Screen to take the Images :D

    you can do the same thing in media player classic
    open the movie/ clips you want
    choose file/ then choose save thumbnails..

    and that is it
