I have taken over a large e commerce site, i need to data base the content as it is impossible to tell what is online being sold, i need to be able to query a data base, please view site and advise the best was to go about this, if there are any specialists out there who are able to do this for a good price then would be interested in hearing from you.

you now own this site - but you don't have access to the database directly? Sorry I'm confused. What are you needing exactly? If you want the content of the site, can't you just log in to your site and get it?

Do you mean to say that all your site content aren't stored in a database, and you would like to convert them to one? Or they are, but you can't access them?

I want to tern all the information into a data base, which will do two things will make it possible to find information through a data query, and i can also us that for an advance search on the web site.

I have only recently took over dealing with this site from my father why believe it or not knows every page location in his head, there are many thousands of items on line.

It is just on line, and getting harder to manage as we now have many thousands of products, i wish to data base it for three reasons to find information quicker, to update changes quicker, and make it possible for the changes to sizes done by an administrator so i can untie the web designer to put more products online:confused:
