Hi, A domain name i have been watching is due to expire in 2 weeks. Lets say the owner does not renew his domain. How can i buy it, I have read there are more holding periods for 72 days?
30+30+(5-7)+ any delays caused oversight or weekends = about 75-80 days until it drops and can be renewed. The last thing you want to do is keep searching for it. Just calls attention to it. Godaddy and a few of the others will always place it on a auction type sales basis for at least a week before they really release it. That is where the $5 and $10 listings at those sites come from.
