How do i bring visitors to my blog?

Hi all,

I have been running a couple of blogs since a few days. But I have not been able to receive any traffic from google till now. Though I have registered myself in quite a few blog directories and have got the back links from them, still to no avail. Do you guys have any suggestion, as to what should I do next? Any other ways besides this? Please guide me, and Thanks in advance…..

 

i wouldent mind this information myself, i to have listed my blogs on many of the top directories and am not noticing any real trafic from them

i understand it takes time but does anyone at least have any legitimate tips on how to move up in the rankings?

Write more content that people want to link to. You guys sound very impatient. You aren't going to see super fast results and riches.

Comment on other blogs within your niche and write responses to other people's blog posts.

 

its not that for me mate, its just the information i have to deliver bares the fate of humanity along with it, its very important i publicise it correctly and although i have signed up to the directories its like ... so now i sit here? im not sure how to tweak and use the listings sites to my advantage this is my problem at the moment.

Same case with me.... Its not that i am being impatient...i just wonder which are the different avenues to get decent traffic in your blog!!! I am sorry if this question seems stupid to many of you..!!!

 

Write good content and then get relevant backlinks so the search engines can rank your blog.

 

good quality content, frequently updated and a bunch of good backlinks should do the work.

 

well i think patience is the key.
(and a bit of work around content)

 

I get frustrated with my blogs because i know both are quality yet they have minimal subscribers. Im thinking that people don't know what quality is i guess. I get frustrated with my blogs low traffic. Because my sites are getting thousands of uniques every day.

 

Write Write Write and Write some more.

If you have content people will want to read then people will do the following things. Read it and leave. Read it and remember the site and come back, Read it and remember the site come back and link to it. Obviously the last point is the most desired

It's all about getting backlinks.

Here's a list of free methods off the top of my head :

social bookmarking
video sites
blog commenting
forum sigs
articles
RSS feeds
PDF submission (convert articles to pdf and submit)


Its important to identify what keywords are getting you rankings, and which ones

are the best for you to go after in terms of competition, etc. Google keyword tool, and

just using simple google queries (like : intitle:"my keyword") are good enough to give you a general idea.
