How do i avoid getting penalized?

    This last update my directory got PR3 from google. And i am afraid google might take it away sometime in the future.

    I need your opinion.

    Hi, congrat!

    my arcade site from PR0 > PR1 > PR3(stay for few weeks) > PR1 (now)
    So i guess it might be their bug, coz i never update my site for awhile, it's not suppose to boost up to PR3 :p

    If you have a directory then you need to be choosy about placing links .. only place high quality website links with relevant content !!

    Dont sell any sitewide/footer link with dofollow. Also I fear, in spite of doing this, your directory maybe penalized. Because google is suffering from Directoryphobia. :rolleyes:

    Why do you worry about it?
    PR is worthless, try to get better SERP's.
    Still if you are a PR lover, than don't use any tactics which Google hates the most. ( Black Hat SEO ).
    You won't get penalized.
