How do I advertise my youtube channel

Hello, I want to become a youtuber as i enjoy doing videos and playing video games although I cannot seem to get the views I need to make money. What do you suggest I am to do in terms of advertising.

Start a blog and talk about your videos. Write reviews and interact with other bloggers in your niche. Don't forget to share your content on social media sites. You can also use the link to your YouTube channel in your email signatures, forum signatures, etc.

 

@dsmpub - that's indeed a good advice. If you know that you like making videos, keep doing it. Do you like writing content? Start a blog with it. If you're only looking forward to do what you're doing, then comment on other related youtube videos with your link. It might help too. As you start to apply different and new strategies, with time you'll learn what to do and what not to do. Best of luck mate!

 

@Alex B On a separate note, you might want to look at how you've been titling and tagging your videos so that they're easily searchable, or contain keywords that are terms people often search for (think of it as SEO but in Youtube). So...for instance, if i had a video of me pulling a fake money prank on my friend, i wouldn't title it as "Pulling the fake money prank on Sarah" or "Sarah's reaction to money prank". Titles like "FAKE MONEY PRANK", "EPIC MONEY PRANK" or "GIRL GETS PRANKED" would fare a lot better on searches!

 

Create a catchy BUSINESS USERNAME and comment on some busy videos. That's one way to generate traffic to your videos.

 

Get on social media. Better yet learn the ins and outs of social media marketing, that's the way to get the best reach, for free.
