Well first, if this is your primary business/affiliate program that you plan to market, then you should have a website/spash page for more effective online and offlline marketing of it. If you not to sure on building and designing a website, you can go to like GoDaddy and get a domain name and use their website builder to help do this, If your still not to keen on doing that, you still can get a domain name and forward your Affiliate Referal link to it. Having a short and catchy URL to your affiliate site can make it alot easier to promote then having a really long URL Referal Link. I hope this helps a little unless I misunderstood your question

But for right now, the basics of promoting any website is through simple Offline and Online medias. Here are some examples, and hope others can chime in as well for more imput. Offline Promoting (Not going to draw loads of traffic to your site, but its a start). Word of mouth, tell everyone you know and even you don't know about your website. Make up some sizzle cards (or business cards), and hand them out at fairs, car shows, bulletin boards in stores, leave a couple with your tip for the waitress/waiter when out at a resturant, etc... anywhere you can hand them out. Place classified ads in local papers. Online Promotiong Place your website on classified ad websites like Graiglist, Gumtree, etc... Directories Make some YouTube videos Put Your website in your signiture in forums There are many ways to promte your website offline and online, to get started. Always try find sources that are free or inexpensive, if you find something that really starts to work with getting traffic to your site and you start to make money with your affiliate program, then start expanding on it. it takes time, patience, trial and error to market and promote any website/business.
