How Do I Add One Page Checkout To My Site Without Using A Whole Cart Provider?

    I'm not sure I'm saying this correctly, but right now my checkout is hosted by CartManager. People add items from my site, which I designed myself, to the CartManager cart which they host. I want to host everything on my site. I have no desire to use a third party system like Volusion or Magneto. Do I hire a developer or are there solutions that I can adapt to my site on my own?
