I am working on my client blog. He wants to share his blog's Articles in Google news. To do so I created news sitemap for the blog but when I accessed my webmaster account to add that news sitemap. But I don't find any option there to add news sitemap. Could anyone suggest me how to add news sitemap in Google Webmaster Tools?? Thanks in advance..
Log into your google webmaster tools, click the "click here to add your site" and then fill in your site url. If you want to be verified, you can do that; otherwise, click the add sitemap option and provide the blog sitemap which is usually /atom.xml. Hope you will find this useful
What do you mean by news sitemap? If you have a page which is being updated all the time, then just include this information in your sitemap. By the way, Google's support will still answer your questions related to their services much better
News Sitemap is basically used to syndicate your articles or informative content to Google news..I was gone through Google Support but didn't get any answer from there...
