How do I add new blog to wordpress when wordpress is already installed on server.

This is probably going to sound like a stupid question. I am running 5 sites already on my server/cp with wordpress, but how do I activate it for a new domain that I have just added?

 

You can upload the files to the new site just like any other. Make sure to change the database prefix(in the config.php file) so each installation has a unique database. Best to use a seperate database user and password for each installation. Once you get the database made and the prefix changed, run the install script.

 

Depends if you have a shared or reseller account. For shared, install it as an addon domain, for reseller, just create a new account.

Download it from wordpress and follow instructions.
