How do I add Negative Keywords to my Ad Groups?

    Hello,

    I am fairly new to the Adwords and was reading about the Negative Keywords but couldn't figure out exatcly how to add Negative Keywords to an Add group. My add group currently looks like this;

    "Confederate Flag"
    "Army Flag"
    "Rebel Flag"
    .....(and a few more phrase matches)

    I don't want to use exact match because I would like the users who search phrases such as Buy Confederate Flag or Confederate Flag Sale to find me. But I also don't want to show ads to someone who is searching for Confederate Flag Image or Confederate Flag History. How do I implement the negative keywords Image and History for the phrase "Confederate Flag"? Will it look something like this;

    "Confederate Flag"
    "Confederate Flag" -image
    "Confederate Flag" -history
    "Army Flag"
    "Rebel Flag"

    Thanks for the help..

    Just drop em' in on their own line:

    "Confederate Flag"
    "Confederate Flag"
    "Confederate Flag"
    "Army Flag"
    "Rebel Flag"
    -image
    -history

    I guess that will also help me prevent my ad from showing up with queries such as Rebel Flag image and Army Flag history?

    Just add your negative keywords below your normal keywords like this example.

    -negativekeyword1
    -negativekeyword2

    Add as many keywords on broad match and then add more negative keywords.
