I have been in need of getting traffic to my forum, and i think of google first. I have looked around and, how do i add my website to google listings.

Simple question I THINK. But since i cant find the answer, please tell me.

My forum is dedicated to freelanceing, and should be a forum where people will go to get jobs for various online jobs. And a place for people to find someone to do a job.

If you want to trade links to help me get started, please pm me.

you have a big forum there, it shouldn't be difficult to find link partners.

Get a link from a page that gets spidered regularly.

First you have to hav your site listed in the dmoz directory. But they will not accept your site until is consideribly bigger.
