How do i add another domain onto server?

As you can tell i am very new to hosting and being honest it really confuses me. I am with the baby croc plan with host gator so i can have unlimited domains and such. When i am on my Control panel with my current site it just has all the stats for that. How do i get another separate domain on the control panel?

Its easy.
Click the addons domain

 

Ah right and this will give me a new website. As long as i have built it right.

 

First of all - make sure you are allowed to add these domain names at all?

 

Make sure you have updated the name servers first. And then add the domain in the additional domains section.

 

Click on the Addon domains at the Cpanel.Provide your new domain details.Make sure that you have set your nameservers to hostgator.

same problem with me..
of course we can add domain but it auto creates a sub-domain of our primary domain...

do you have any idea of it... that how we can add new domain without making a sub-domain of primary domain.

for example my primary domain is yatrabooking.in then I have added flightticketbooking.in with addon domain function

and it auto creates flightticketbooking.yatrabooking.in

why.... Please help

I am using baby plan of host gator that have unlimited domain hosting value.
