How do I add a search engine to a website stored on hard drive?

    tools.digitalpoint.com/site-searchI have a private site not published and stored only on my hard drive. How do I alter the path in the above example if my site is in this folder? C:priv_sitePlease advise

    you cant you need to host it and that cannot be stored on a HDD.
