    Hello,
    How do I add a frame to a swf file using php? Such as making a loading page with your logo. There is a flash file. Then there is a php script acessing the flash file. Then, after acessing the flash file, my logo will pop up and will load.

    There is a sample script here: http://flash-creations.com/notes/control_preloader.php,

    But how do I do it with php. This is because I do not have the flash program and I do not intend to download it illegally. Thank you for your help.

    Also, if someone put their logo on, am I able to edit it out and put my logo there instead? Is that possible with the flash program?

    if anything, that's html. I don't think there is a library/addon for php that lets you edit flash files. Mostly because it wouldn't be practical

    thats usually done in the flash movie at the end of the animation - getURL("display_web_page.php", "_self");
    - and the page html displaying the flash should include a <skip intro> link for those visitors who has no interest in your flash intro, but still want to view your sites other content ... and recently lots of developers are placing a <skip into forever> link that sets a cookie so visitors dont have to see it at all if they dont want to.

    there is really no 'accurate' way for php to know when the flash file has been fully loaded, then displayed in it's entirety as each users latency and download speed may differ (e.g. - cable is alot faster than 56k) ... not to mention if the server has any sluggishness that can vary the time between the initial request and successfule download.

    If you have no way to edit the .fla source, I recommend simply displaying the flash movie with a skip/skip-forever link, then adding a META REFRESH or javascript window.open("page.php","_self"); after 10 seconds or something reasonable to automatically load the page/logo you want loaded.

    other than that, get someone with flash developer to alter the .fla or download the free trial from macromedia and edit it yourself.
