Hey, I'm totally new to google adsense and have some legal questions: How does google know if the clicks recieved to ones google ads were from the person who owns the site or her/his friends? Forexample I could stick a google ad on a site (don't have one yet) and tell my friends every where to visit it once a day and click the google ads, the hits will be from all over the place since I will tell people who live in different parts of the world. Alternatively I could go to an internet cafe and move from one computer to another clicking the ads, how will google tell it was me? It would be great if someone could answer this question, thanks.
Well, if Google gets a click every day from the same IP adres, they will see it and know someone is making invalid clicks (and stealing the advertisers money). They have lots and lots of different way to find it, and they always know if your clicks are valid or not. Don't even try to cheat on the system, 'cause it won't work. You can make a lot more money if you make a good website and try getting real traffic and clicks to it. Besides, you know that you're just stealing someone else his money by clicking on your own ads. It isnt google who pays, but the advertisers, so just don't do it.
Well I've been reading on these forums about people not having clicked their own ads and still getting banned and want to know what makes google so sure that they are right. Also I hate google ads!
check your ads daily, and check your account report, you won't have revenue for them, so if you click on ads you dont get money and you loose account, nothing to win everything to loose.. now decide
I think you should try to click as many ads as you can and have all you pals do the same thing and see what happens...
