How Do Forums Have Adsense?

I was wondering.... Google says that you can't tell people to click on your Adsense banner. What if somebody on your forums says to click on the banner?

Is that something that can get you banned? I'm thinking of placing Adsense on my forums, but that idea keeps me from doing it. It only takes one devious person from saying that?

How do forums like DigitalPoint avoid people from saying "click on the Google banner on this page"? Or does it not matter because its a forum?

well if they find out that you were the one who ask ppl to click the ads, than you will get ban.

If you ask someone else to start a thread and ask on your behalf to click on the ads, than you get ban!

If they read this thread and know which forums you are operating, than you clearly prove you have the intention of doing so and you get banned!

yup, you can delete the post, but most likely nothing will happen.

if you leave it up, have a sticky, etc ;P then they may ban you, but it also depends on the conversion rate of your clicks.

Make it clear on your Faq/rules section, moderate every thread/post on your forum or hire moderators of you don't have time, be strict if necessary

The answer is simple, moderate your forums. If somebody tells other to click on your ads, delete the post. if he doesn't stop, ban his account etc.

I think google is smart enough to know that you could have created a fake account so it looks like a normal user is telling you to click on your ads.

    1. Google is not stupid to know that it was a third party post. In your Terms of Use, you should state that the forum owner is not responsible for posts made by users. It could be a competitor putting you in trouble, and if you get in trouble, just tell Google.

    2. Get some moderators to watch your forum.
