How do find what are the best selling searched items on the internet

    Hi
    I am looking to start a new e commerce business. I want to find out what items are purchased the most over internet. Say top 500 items like watches, and computers and then look at the competition and choose a hot product to base my new business on.

    Any idea where I can get this information
