One thing I didn't get about Ebay power sellers and store owners is that they sell stuff for really cheap, cheaper than anywhere else in the world. And they seem to have the same stuff with a large quantity. But even if they buy from a wholesaler, it seems impossible to make a profit. Because they sell too cheap and ebay fees too high. Thank you very much.
They always do dropshipping and you know, dropshipping has always the lowest price... especially if the dropshipping comp[any is offshore and do not pay taxes..
Drop shipping doesnt have the lowest prices, wholesale would naturally have the lower prices however due to their economies of scale they may work out cheaper than the lower priced wholesale. There are a number of possible options on prices: 1) They are selling items with no profit - a friend moves his old stock via ebay that isnt selling via their main store. Better to recover the stocking price than having it sitting round taking up room 2) They sell non-genuine items (there are plenty of fakes on ebay) 3) Selling nearly new/ seconds/ returns etc 4) Volumes they are buying slashes the wholesale price - for one excellent brand of studio lights there is a UK retail company that sells via their own website at lower price than the wholesalers sell units for when your monthly order is below 50 per month and they are still making a small profit on them (and a much better profit on the accessories that most people buy at the same time)
