Like others I've seen it too, but it deserves to be rehashed as many times as it takes until everyone sees it. It's just incredible. The downside is, I can't watch that without feeling carpal tunnel come on.
SixSigma : I think the guy is using a pen tablet. The strokes are too fine for a mouse in my opinion and you don't get CTS when using a pen tablet. In fact, CTS can be cured by shifting to a pen tablet and anti RSI keyboards. Reminds me of an insane designer. Not to be impolite. But since we're in the subject of cars and drawing. You guys might want to check him out. He makes 5 dimensional drawings. Why 5? Top view, side view, front view, interior and exterior. His name is Kevin Hulsey. He uses Illustrator and Photoshop. Yes, those are all vector illustrations.
jayL, You're probably right. I'm not a graphics person (beyond stick men) so I hadn't thought of that.
Nice find. A skilled artist can play with his tools on any platform. The other easy way to go for rough sketching is pencil and paper. Scan the rough sketch to computer and trace it with Macromedia Flash/Adobe Illustrator to preserve in the form of vector format. Vectorised drawings are great since they can be scaled to any size without losing quality. For Pixelart MS Paint is great. Anyway the Video tutorial is awesome. A Technique is always a good tip for an Artist. Thanks for sharing.
agree with jayL i don't think this guy use mouse to draw such a nice pic without help from tablet. Base on my experience, i've try to draw a lady using MS paint 10 years ago, but takes alots of time to draw using mouse. But now i prefer to do drawings using Photoshop with tablet. It's awesome.
