how do cc refunds work?

    does anyone know how cc refunds work?

    i already paid the balance on it, how would it work? also, i bought something with a gift card + cc, but the whole balance was refunded to my cc, so how would that work? :p

    any info would be great,

    google wasn't much of a help

    the total of the refund will show up as a negative purchase on your next statement, so if you have a $100 refund, it will be like $100 off your next bill.

    It'll show back up on your cc as negative like was said above. If you havent been spending on your card, rather than getting a bill saying "you owe us x dollars", you'll get a bill saying you are in credit, just the same as if you had overpaid it.

    My dad told me that CC refunds are bank transfers thats why it takes a few days to get into your account. If the funds arnt in your account after 10 days you should phone the company.

    That's right - I had training course at a bank before - it takes average of 5 business days to complete
