How do CB product downloads work?

    I will be publishing a product soon and I am curious how the product download process works with CB. I figure it must be:

    1. CB stores the file and deliver it upon payment
    2. I need to build some sort of Thank you page, if so, how do I verify only paying customers view it? (ie. is it like Paypal where they will post info to our thank you page and you can ping their API for validation?)

    you store the file on your thank you page and you give that thank you page url to clickbank.
    Clickbank verifies the paying customers and sends them to the thank you page you gave them.

    Yes, but there are products that protect your ty page by requiring a login//or coded only if they purchased.
