I see a lot of sites that help you evaluate a domain. I am just curious, how they calculate that value? What`s the algorithm? Some evaluated prices are very high!
Most of them take things like backlinks, pr, alexa and other traffic rankings and then compare them to the cost AOL payed for Engadget (Aol paid way to much for Engadget so they'll be higher than in actuality)
