How do add text & Pictures to sidebar in Wordpress

    I am using the "Pro Blogger" theme and as is this guy http://blog.perfectspace.com/ - I am wondering how he got his pic and information about the site on the right next to the sidebar, my PHP skills are very limited so can anyone help?

    You would go to "your-blog-directory/wp-content/themes/probloggertheme/sidebar.php", and edit that file to add your image and text. Quite straightforward from there on :)

    Ok thanks, I added a photo but it displays at the bottom under Meta, not on far right top side?

    Then you have to place it on the more upper side of the sidebar.php file :) the lower you place it there, the lower it comes on the page... just HTMl basics.

    I know that the higher you place it the higher it goes, what I mean is that it is not placed on the right hand side like where the image and text sits in the blog mentioned above.
