    Hi,

I want some high PR Inbound links to My website which is on Excel Macros. My Site is PR 2 . I can see many people offering inboud links with High PR but the thing is that they are not related to My website theme.

Do U guys think that If My website (PR2) is about Excel VBA programming and I get a link from a Yoga Webiste (PR5), would this help me anyway?

Basically, I just wanna know, having links from websites with totally different themes , doest it help ??

Please let me know your comments.

    Many Thanks

Go to your competitors websites and find out links and then contact those sites requesting to exchange links with you also. This is the best way.

When there are millions of programming related websites, why would u want to have links from a yoga website.

Coming to the title of the thread, be ready to shell out some bucks as high PR one way back links will cost u money.

To me a link is a link.

The best link is one that brings in traffic, not necessarily related to search engine visibility. At the end of the day, it is traffic that counts.

As far as high PR links costing money, this is not necessarily true. Some well known sites link out because they want to. Or think about it as *have* to. How long can a top site stay there if they don't link out?

Getting a pr 5 link from a different theme website might help your site's pr but it will not help you to get rank in SE . So better go for relevent links rather then pr .It will also give you some trffic as well .

OK, So the if I get things correct...

Same Theme High PR Link >>>> Helps my PR, Traffic and SEO
Other Theme High PR Link >>>> Helps my PR only.

But the thing, is Other theme PR would be easier to get and can be a bit cheaper I think.

    Thanks

i think only relative links exchange can bring targetted traffic. If your site is related to yoga, you need not to exchange links with web hosting sites or other. You can submit your link to web directories Under categories Health >> Yoga etc.. This way you can get theme based links.

I think any link High PR link would be good regardless of theme.

Like someone else said, traffic is king.

Yeah,it will help.A link is a link, but it doesn't have much weight as a link in a relevant site.

I would have thought that there are a ton of online communities related to Excel, macros, etc. Get yourself registered on these places, and post away - including a sig link of course.

You can also query the engines directly searching for sponsored link opportunities (related to your keywords) with other sites, blogs, etc.

Theme isn't that important for PR. Get any high PR links you can regardless.
