How Directory critic rate Directories?

    I am curious to know how www.directorycritic.com rates directories

    I am asking about free directories

    Free directories:
    If they are rating on the basis of user submitted report then they may be wrong as some directories do not review the sites properly and just approve it for the sake of gaining rank in directories

    So if some of the sites have waiting time longer than usual then the users tend to submit a negative report on it!

    I am really eager to know how they rate it!

    A directory which has long waiting time (Free directory)will not be on the top of the list!


    That means spammy directories will be at the top!

    I think every member or user probably has the option to rate the directory there and give his answers according to the questionnaire type of form they are provided... based on that the directory's ratings are decided!

    when sites approve your links, they often email you asking to rate their sites @ DC.

    They are right, only users can rate for that directories. Check the links of the directories and check the page rank , relevancy and traffic as well.
