Hi Guys, I am new to SEO and have been reading alot of articles on Google Algorithms, the Panda Update, Page Ranks and other stuff. I could not find any helpful content on Bing's algorithm. I also ran some experiments on some website and found out that Google Ranks websites differently than Bing. Would love to know your thoughts on How Bing Ranks websites. It is going to be very important for us "SEO's" to get familiar with Bing as it is acquiring Yahoo search very soon. Thanks for sharing the knowledge in advance. Cheers
Google’s main competitor, Bing, has also developed a way to index Web sites that change often, like blogs and news feeds, and analyzes Twitter posts to identify popular topics.
I also want to know what is the different between google and bing ranking websites. if anyone know some online SEO course that dedicated to bing rules and how you can rank your website at top of bing..????
hi .....! Bing gives more importance on page optimization like a Title tag, description, keywords compared to Google but Google gives relevance on backlinks and more importance to off page optimization than on page optimization.....
The first difference that you can notice is that google has a very important factor called: PageRank. Bing doesn't. Of course google has a better and relevant algorithm.

Bing's Algorithm is totally different. As many people concider only Google, The resources for Google Algorithm are not very rare like Bing's
Google algorithm gives more attention towards link building while Bing algorithm gives more attention towards traffic.
The difference is that Google ranks the website by focusing on link popularity, diversity and prominence where as Bing ranks the website by focusing on on-page factors.
IMO, Google ranks the website by focusing on link popularity, variety and prominence where as Bing ranks the website by focusing on on-page factors.
Different search engines use different algorithm. Google is also different from bing and yahoo as well.
You mean, algorithm differs depending on length of history!! Interesting. Would you please clarify the idea?
Ever since Microsoft launched its Bing search engine, it has drawn a lot of interest (and speculation) from the SEO community. On one hand, this is quite logical because Bing is intended to be one more heavy-weight player and it is expected to cut some share from Google. On the other hand, this is hardly the first time a new heavy-weight player comes to the ring, so maybe the expectations that Bing will put an end to Google's monopoly are groundless. Still, Bing is quite different (in a positive way) from the other search engines and this is its major strength.
Hello Friends, I also want to know that which type of algorithm both(Google & Bing) are using. What is the criteria for judgeing a website.
