    Hey there!

I currently run an info based website, with PPC ads to try and earn money.

However my site never really got too much traffic, so I am looking into trying my way at affiliate marketing. Particularly micro niche blogs.

From what I have learnt it seems to be all about:

    1) Finding a Niche
Something currently existing but not written about overly, or something new and exciting which will be big. Both need to ensure there aren't too many websites on the same subject

    2) Register a good domain
    Something around your niche.

    3) Create a blog/website around the topic
Witting original or already written articles of interest to your target market (with where relevant source links)

    4) SEO the blog/website
    Where relevent headers/meta tags ect

    5) Market the blog/website
Backlinks, outgoing links, search engine/directory submission, yahoo answers, youtube videos, facebook, myspace, twitter, forums, articles, press releases

    6) Monetize
Add affiliate products/services, PPC ads, in text ads ect

    7) Review traffic stats and act accordingly

However I am new to affiliate marketing, and am currently looking for my first mini blog niche ideas, please tell me if I have missed anything?

Finally, I would like to ask you all - how did you start to succeed in affiliate marketing?

Link building, seo? What did you learn/do that started the process?

Learning through others is a very useful tool, and these forums allow this.

    Many thanks,

    Sam

    ?

At what point in your magic plan for success do you actually do the "Marketing" to figure out who your customer is and what they want?

You are just spitting out the same old tired and copied blueprint to nothing.

At the point when I choose my niche, I can't find out who I am marketing too until I understand what I am first marketing!

But go easy on me, I did say I am new and looking into getting into affiliate marketing not an established e-business man, i'm on here for motivation and to read valuable posts. But thanks for your comments.
