Real Simple Site Generator. Thanks Will. Haha. I don't know why, but the name cracks me up. Does it actually work and the banner ad on that page is for a site called "Black Hat SEO Paradise", so it makes me wonder a couple things: 1. Would using RSSGM be considered a Black Hat SEO technique. 2. I wonder if Google bans these type of sites from its SERPS.
There is no standard definition of Black Hat SEO. However, I believe that "most" people feel that RSSGM is Black Hat SEO under the 2nd and 3rd definitions. I am pretty green when it comes to Black Hat SEO, but I believe that Google manually (but not programmatically) bans these sites. You might get a better answer over at syndk8.
came across this and I wanted to share. very simple addition but looks great to me. I am talking about the adsense unit on the top right http://www.dailyprincetonian.com/archives/2005/11/18/news/13876.shtml
Some time ago I thought the same When you start earning $500/day you'll see it's not that much actually.
When I started adSense I was lucky make 30$ a month. That was in April 2005. I am now up to over $1,000 a month and hoping to break $1,000 a day within 2 years or less. In 8 months I have gone up 3300% in earnings per month and that was even with a ban in the middle and got reincluded (which is rare I hear). So here is what I have to suggest. 1) Make lots of sites 2) Promote the hell out of them with as many ways as you can think of to get lnks to them. Directories, exchanges, link netwoks. 3) Give a site 6+ months before it earns much. To do this quickly. Make 10 sites, submit them all to 200+ directories, wait for a pagerank update, then put them in COOP or link vault to drive up their SERPs even higher. Repeat this every 3-4 months. If you can do more then 10 sites each with considerable content, then do more. However many you can do. I do less. I have less then 30 sites total. But I add 1-2 quality sites a month and usually 1-2 not-so-good quality a month. Ironic in that a few of my setup-and-forget sites are making more $$$ then the ones I have to babysit. you just never know!
I guess you don't need to wait your first site to earn before creating your second, third and so on sites. As long as you have a new idea for a new site then go for it, but don't forget the first sites you created.... right now I am 12 sites... and all of them are making enough for my family.
Excellent post! With the directories you submit to, are those recip or no-recip? If recips, do you add them on a links page? Also, my guess is that since you are building qulaity sites, how many pages/articles are you shooting for per site? Thanks!
Directories SUCK The DONT boost your pagerank cause they have toooo many outbound links or block PR and you dont get any traffic form them or they charge you a fee to be 'submitted' or the submission process takes a reaaaaaaallly loooong time Just get linsk to releavent websites. Much better way.
Google doesn't like pages with more than 100 links so directories can't help you with SEO. Only links exchange can help you...so do it
Wrong Ned They do give PR. There are alot of free ones that don't charge a cent. And often submissions are immediate. Yes, links on websites are better most of the time, but don't write off all directories.
the PR is very very tiny since there are too many outgoing links BTW froum bulge whats the name of your website? I cant seem to find it...
Yeah for sure, I'd say 90% of directories are a waste of time. It's weeding out the worthy 10% that makes it worthwhile Website link is in my sig, or search "forum posting service" in google
My advices: 1) Make 20+ site but not 30 20 is good. Keep good content about a niche. 1 site should include one specifiic topic. 2) Use pay per click advertisement. Pay 0.05 per click and don't make your ads totally relevant to your site but the ads showing on your site. 3) Bingo, you're earning! In the end of the day you spent 0.05*100= 5 dollars The amount you earn: 0.50*15=7,5 dollars (%15) 7,5-5=2,5dollars per site 2,5*20=50 dollars per day That's how it worked for me, but it depends your sites/ your niches.
It sounds easy but almost nobody will build 20 websites. You need a lot of different topics and content... It's not easy or simple like you said..
