How did you learn CSS and HTML?

    I learn it in 2 months using Dreamweaver and Notepad++. Also using online tutorial. and w3school.

    I learned the first html code from a book I bought with 99 cents. LOLZ. Also I have used w3 schools and youtube videos.

    seriously I learned html/css in one week, as in basics, I can make basic website layouts and do a lot of stuff now....
    but I spent over 40+ on youtube and reading.
    Youtube is amazing for learning...

    and nets tutsplus web dev tutsplus etc..

    I always just played around with the html file in notebook to make my changes. Now I just use a freebie - Kompozer. Works great.

    Used Image/Design mode and watched how the code changed in the html window. Also did a lot of searching for specific problems and questions. Use w3schools.com and w3.org quite a bit.

    I think best way to learn something is from scratch . In this course of thinking notepad and writing your own html , php, mysql and JS is the best way to look under the hood and have full control of your stuff

    Recently during my searching on google i got the site which have great stuff related to css tutorial. It has complete encyclopedia on CSS. I think it cover all the topics in its post, it give the source code their outputs and demos also. I have learn many things from here.
