I'm another SEOchat refugee. I like the atmosphere better here. Don't recall if I visited for the tools or the forum first..
By the time I've started posting here, I was done with forums and over moderation. I've had a few good friends to exchange info with, but forums didn't offer me anything useful anymore (seochat was one of those).
I came from seochat too. I liked the atmosphere here better. I visit seo chat on occasion now, but not very often. Far fewer posts and the same repetitive questions. The off topic posts here is what makes it fun.
I like it here too, the fact that you're not an "expert" doesn't mean your post will get trodden into the "you idiot" mud.
I think I found the boards from a link on another webmaster board like SEOChat or SitePoint, which I apostasized from after I re-found the place in late April. And then the Wacko Queen left.
I live on other top forums but a friend told me this was a good place so here i am and yes i agree with him it is a very good community.
I track all my traffic on new sites under 6 months old. I never heard of this forum until i saw a bunch of hits come from it one day going straight to one of reviews about a comment spamming program. I've since added it to my preferred list of stops.
I am a seo chat regular, I still like seo chat, friendly and tolorant group. But I agree about the fewer posts and repetive questions. I had suggested a few times we start a sandbox forum just for all the sandbox questions, or better yet, place all sandbox posts in a sandbox for 6 months Seriously though, I visit a number of forums for different reasons, each have their unique points, I'm glad I found this one too!
i was searching on google for some internet related question ( not remember what ? ) and find DP and now this is one of the forums which i visited daily infact twice a day
I know. SEO Chat should just be called sandbox chat. Every post there is about the sandbox. Drives me frickin nuts. Lots of black hats there now too, and I have a problem with how the community has embraced them, too.
