How Did You Do In August 2012

Alright, August earnings are all in, how did you do?

I got 17 items sold, made a cool $11.

Luckily Microsoft Ads get me a cool 2K otherwise I'd be worried.

September, I'm hoping I can double Amazon affiliate earnings, I've launched 2 new review blogs.

I've also registered a couple of domain names for astore promotions.

 

How many affiliates made you the $11 ?

 

My main site sold 78 items and made me $77.36. The rest only made like $30 combined. Got a lot of clickthroughs but not a lot of sales. Also, there were 200 items pending when the month ended that rolled over.

 

My UK program sold 115 items and made £318.53 and my US program (still in development) sold 12 items and made $108.71.

 

You mean affiliate code links? or Sites?

 

I have got 100+ clicks. I get google traffic. But I have zero conversions. I blog at dietheight.blogspot.[com] Can you people help me? Can you check my blog, like what I have been doing wrong? Links? What? Help Me Friends.

I made $125 dollars selling Amazon and Affiliate products. Pretty good considering my traffic was low this past month.

 

You need to keep writing. Also I didn't like the overlay div tags asking me to do stuff like "pop ups" but not pop ups. The rest, well, maybe have your content full instead of "continue reading", and then just try getting traffic.

sorry, i meant how many sites you have?
i have 2 sites and i sold 4 items in August. (only started in July)
my clicks are very low.., the last item i sold i had 8 clicks, 6 unique and got 1 sale from it.
i think there is potential in the sites if i can get a sale from 8 clicks or is this common?

I have a total of 10 sites, however, my main site sirjorge.net <-- is where i make the most from Amazon, the others I'm still trying, but it's harder on blogger for some reason

 

My blogger sites do better with Adsense than with Amazon but I'm not sure if it's the platform or the audience that causes it.

 

How many blogger websites are allowed to have..i have two using the same email account.The funny part is google have rejected my application for adsense..Null $$ for me this month

 

You can have as many blogger sites as you want as far as I know. I have a dozen or so and got my adsense account approved with them originally. Your sites have to meet certain minimum requirements to get adsense approval regardless of if it's on Google's platform or not @outNabout.

 

There are no limitations, however, spread your blogs over free sites like Google sites, blog.com, freewebs, wordpress, facebook notes, blogger and create a new blog page for each product, don't put all your eggs in one basket or you will leave yourself vulnerable. The real money is in the blogs, so I wouldn't bother too much with Google Adsense or similar schemes due to the small returns.

Good to see some people are making money, I have tried amazon on squidoo but made only $6 after spending more than $50.

 

I can't get single pie with Amazon. Adsense helped me a lot in this month

 

Nothing last month, but about $7 the month before. Really haven't promoted much. And I think the sales I have got were when I posted cool products on my facebook page. Hope that's ok!

 

You mention you got another cool 2K from Microsoft Ads. What does this mean?

Are you displaying ads on your site from Microsoft? If so how do I become a publisher?

I am just looking to optimize my site for earnings.
