lol My name Weirfire came from my second name which is Weir. The fire bit was stuck on the end because I thought I could make a cool fire logo for the company site. I don't think you'll find many people who are 100% happy with their company name
Mine came about when I was first starting to get into the SEO stuff... I really enjoyed learning about the way SE's worked but my knowledge at the time was somewhat basic... Hence SEbasic (It's also a coding language but I didn't realise that before I chose the name). I guess than now my knowledge isn't quite so basic I should really change it... But everyone knows me by this name so I think it'll stick. (Unless I develop a crew of unhappy people after me )
Somehow a person returned my phone call and asked to speak with Jarvis Harvison. Pity my name is James Hart. My friends then just shortened it a bit. I went all through school without a nickname and got lumbered with this one (and many other variations) in my early twenties. If only that person realised how the name has stuck.
USERNAME: Lever FIRST KNOWN USE: May 2004 BACKGROUND: Was chuckling to myself one day over the use of the word "leverage" in lots of business-speak, as in "leverage technology" - it does not impress me but rather amuses me - I mean what's wrong with the word "use" and a lever is after all just a blunt instrument. It just made me smile how something so crude could be made to sound so sophisticated <edit: add missing point>Plus, a lever can be used to tip the balance</edit> So that's my contribution to cutting through all the BS Talking of which, leverage is one of the verbs in the old web economy bull**** generator - years old but still brings a smile to my face
I just woke up one day and thought "Vicious. That's a good word and would make an awesome clothing line". You don't see it used too often and when it is used it usually elicits a reaction. I'm hoping to launch my clothing line in 2005 (Surprise! I'm not just a "Panty Hustler" ! )
This can be true, too......But I only use my Vicious Powers for good (well, unless I'm feeling ornery).
I saw a really expensive car with the license plate T0P C30 . It musy have been a top executive indeed since it seemes pretty posh to me. I'm no CEO just yet so even though I only just showed my face in the die hard SEO world, I decided on T0PS3O. It could also be explained as 30 being the projected final year of working in my life. But it was meant to mean top SEO. My avatar accompanies that too. It's more a process than a fact though. Getting there. Now you know.
several years ago, (during a time of my life when i was clinically depressed), i started calling myself Loof (Fool spelled backwards). when a friend of mine figured it out, she got extremely ticked off at me for denigrating myself, and told me in no uncertain terms that i was to immediately change to something more positive. strictly to get her to shut up and stop bugging me about it, i changed it to dazzlindonna. time passed and it just stuck, probably because i just was too lazy to come up with something else.
not sure if I got the right word but: http://www.searchspell.com/sites/wordor/orney.html Maybe Im missing something.. lol
Ornery is a more mischievous cranky feeling. Like the time I tried to convince my drunken friends that it would be funny to get arrested by going for a swim in the Las Vegas Bellagio fountain.
Who you callin' a lady!? Oh wait... I grew up with an older brother, so I'm a bit of a tomboy. Don't let the lady-like exterior fool you .
LOL, sorry 'bout the typo, I meant to say "laddy". Nobody uses the word "lady" anymore. Do they? I don't suppose America will ever see the comedy series "Little Britain"? Highly recommended
[cut and paste]We chose to reinvent ourselves under the name Such Great Heights for two important reasons. First, we wanted to convey that we share the goals of our clients, and are driven to bring your business to such great heights. Secondly, it happens to be the name of an amazing song by the group The Postal Service, which both inspires and delights us.[/cut and paste] http://suchgreatheights.com/corporate-info.php
