http://www.about.com/money/ i was reading around and saw one of their adsense ads that caught my attention so i clicked on it. i was surprised to see that it popped up a new browser window. you can just take my word for it and not click on their ads..but i thought it was against their TOS to not be able to popup a new window? Thanks!
about.com is a big site and get > 1,000K+ impressions so I would not be surprised if they had some kind of special relationship with Google.
Do not do that. Thats against ToS. Big player can do anything, but let the Guerilla Win their own share. Stick to your situation. Do not bother others. Nuttymarketer
oh yea...i know it's definately against TOS so that's why i was wondering how they could do it. but i forgot about the special perks of premium publishers.
A premium publisher will get to do tons of thing that we mere mortals can do. Wonder when will I get into that kind of status? sigh.....
Speaking of Premium Publishers - One thing I'm never quite sure about - if you're doing 20 million impressions per month, is that all it really takes? Can it be split across multiple sites? If it is one domain pulling the 20 million impressions... are there any limitations on types of sites? (forums etc. obviously not porn related).
Digg is a premium publisher from what i've heard and seeb - they get to have nice customized borders around their google ads.
about.com is nothing more than a MFA site in my opinion check this page out interiordec.about.com/od/coatracks/index.htm No content all adds it goes against everything G says MFA Unrelated links no content Just crap I have sites with quality original content and they are in supp but they can have a page like this and rank well
