How did this become a forum about buying and selling on eBay..?

I thought this forum was supposed to be about EPN, the eBay affiliate network (hence why it is a subforum of Affiliate Programs), not about general buying and selling on eBay. Isn't there another forum for that? Kind of annoying. Many of us promoting EPN have little or no interest in the ins and outs of being an eBay seller. Maybe it's just me, but I thought I'd have a little whinge

Well, my post WAS sort of a call to come back on-topic, though I know it will not have any effect. Oh well... Maybe I'd better clear out my garage and see if I have anything worth selling on eBay...

there is a very good forum all about selling on ebay, not on here though. search for aspkin and you will find a forum dedicated to just this subject!

the aspkin site is very good for ebay and paypal users, and all the little tricks for using them without the issues. the site has great guides available and many experienced users that will happily advise on any problems you have.

 

I agree - I am fairly new to digital point - joined last year but only started paying attention recently -- and I am astonished at the way forum topics are so frequently ignored - is there no moderation here at all??? I just looked down all the threads here - they are ALL about buying and selling - could hardly even find ONE that is about being an ebay affiliate. And what's with the thread "Is Wealthy Affilate a scam?" - a nice twist there, this time having nothing to do with Ebay!!

 

Being an eBay affiliate now-a-days is so hard...really, it's like eBay LOVES LOSING MONEY!

 

Totally agree. It is very annoying when you are trying to help other EPN potentials or users to better their experience/earnings and you can't tell the difference whether they are talking about eBay or EPN.... then my inner "SmartA$$" tends to come out.

No, I wrote the WordBay plugin, which is still in ongoing development, on and off.

As for this forum, honestly, I have pretty much moved on...

People see ebay and think of buying and selling. Amazing how few know about their affiliate program.

 

There are no moderators anymore on DP, haven't been for a long while, it seems. I might actually TRY to get an infraction just for fun, see how much effort it actually takes.
