Until now i dont have good idea how google calculate PR, i have pr3 4 months old and have some back links. and m always updating.. But i saw some site have more back links >1000, and good content but PR 1 or 2 something. So i am totally confuced. I will appreciate for good advice
Just start building backlinks. It can be done via : Article Submission,Blog Submission,Forum Signatures, directory submission
High Pr directory always gives best result. You have to submit directory with relevant and theme of site, therefore you will get approval faster rather than rejection of submission.
Yes, but provided those links are from related sites of your niche and links are from good quality sites..
Whojaybe could you just check your PR again .. I have no idea what is happening to my own site .. it was also pr0 but increased to a pr3 but then 5 minutes ago it went back to pr0
Honestly, I originally didn't notice my PR change until I posted "No Pagerank, No Problem: February Earnings" and everyone told me I had a PR4 lol... But it's been a PR4 for the last few days that I have checked. I think I last checked last night? I'm currently at work without the toolbar... any change on my PR to anyone that has the toolbar right now?
yes it will be a great way to know how to know this directly from Google itself i assumed before i will find it in webmaster tools in crawl option but i don't know maybe i am wrong about any idea about this?
Hi whojaybe, did you pay, for the yahoo directory inclusion? It shows your site url being listed in the yahoo directory. The strange thing is, it goes to a different url. Here's the link http://checkpagerank.net/index.php?name=www.datmoney.com&links=1 Let us know whats up with that. Thanks..
Alexa Rank: 139,581 Technorati Rank: 5,588 Technorati Authority: 634 I'm not surprised. Your content has been picked up by some major authority sites.
Previously, PR is determine based on only incoming links. But currently its matters outgoing links also. To assign a PR, google algorithm evaluate the no. of coming links and their relevancy with pr, and how many no. of links point to other sites. So, if you maintain your PR you should care about getting good links and pointing to other sites.
I did NOT pay for any directory submissions. Though, I believe I did try to submit to Google, Dmoz, Yahoo, etc. I didn't really hear back from any of them though. But apparently, I'm in Yahoo's?
