    Well...

    Check this out.

    http://qala.blogspot.com/2008/01/deadliest-display-of-nuclear-power.html

Nuclear weapons will result in the end of the world. There are "some" countries who have developed enough nuclear weapons to destroy the entire planet 100 times over.

    It is scary.

Let us see what the new President of the world's most powerful country is like... I hope it is Ron Paul.

I take it you don't have faith in the American Military or the American People. Once determined there is really nothing that will stop us.

    Donald Rumsfeld:

Feb. 7, 2003: “It is unknowable how long that conflict [the war in Iraq] will last. It could last six days, six weeks. I doubt six months.”

It only took us 3 weeks to get to Baghdad and that included a week spent in a sand storm.

6 months and 10 years is a long time, no wonder he was out, Bush needed a guinea pig, it is either Bush lying or Rumsfield and of course we saw who packed his bags :)

I doubt it would be ten years though, it depends on who is in the White House after the next election. A quick proclamation of "Victory" and a grand and pomp handling over of power to the "iraqi people" and USA can be on its way out. What happens in Iraq after that, only someone up there knows.......

6 years and 10 months isn't that long of a time period when considering that we are still in Germany 60 years after the war end and we are still on the Korean peninsula 50 years after that war end.

My point was that going into Iraq was a cakewalk, maintaining it is a different story.

I think they would rather be in Korea and Germany where there are pretty bar girls and call girls than in Iraq where they face the constant threat of death and depend on Black Hawks or Grey Hawks etc to protect them.

You know, you people, disgracing our country and our government seem to think you know it all. You think this government is bad, if you had said the words you are saying now, when our government was new, our government would have you hung for treason. If you have such a problem with it, get off your high horses and join Congress, run for president, quit talking the talk and walk the walk, but for Gods sake, quit your crying already. The only thing from keeping me from being a Ron Paul supporter are his supporters. You unpatriotic cry babies. Get over it already. Bush isnt perfect, Our government is currupt, you think one man will make the difference? If so your in for a terrible upset if he does make it.

One man CAN make a difference. And those are the people who definitely have a much different ideal than you do. Thats why they well they are somebody and you are well just a user on the DP forum? Never underestimate the "power of one"

Why? Are they going to be president? You believe in Paul's views, but won't vote for him because of his supporters? I don't understand this.

You'll find, rather than calling me a coward, or others, cry babies, you'll get further with your views if you just stick to facts. I've been a preacher of late - and at the risk of making everyone barf, one more time might be helpful:

I hope this isn't adressed to everyone who questions our government.
Last I checked the people who founded our country disagreed with who was ruling us, they were actually a minority as well.
So in other words we should not voice why we are upset with how the administration is? In our form of government you do not need to run for president, the people can make a difference through voting, informing and debating issues.
So basing your opinion off a few supporters, that makes grand sense to me.
Again those who founded our great land questioned the ruling power, I guess they were 'unpatriotic'
Again so we should shut up, we should not even try? It is not so much the man, it is the movement. We can either try, or we can not try like you appear to do. You realise there is a problem, but you do not want to do anything about it? Who is the true 'patriot' in that situation?
