How deep does the keyword tracker track?

    When a keyword goes from unlisted (N/A) to, say 20, the change columns will say 9979. This implies that the keyword tracker checks the top 9,999 results.

    The highest position any of my results has shown up is around 100. I have read in the forums about people who have had results around position 200. This implies that the tracker only checks the top ~200 results.

    Which is it?

    If the tracker does not actually check 10,000 results it would be nice if the change numbers reflect the actual known change.

    It only checks as deep as your setting are set to look.

    Thanks Shawn. I'm sure I saw that setting once upon a time, but had forgotten about it.

    I now have my account set to check 200 results, the maximum. As I said in the OP, it would be nice if the change numbers reflected the setting rather than an arbitrary number (9,999).

    Can something be done?
