How dare I hate hate, and be intolerant of intolerance?

Rather than take off-topic drift and turn it into total threadjack, figured I'd start a separate thread in response to:

Where this was the cherry basket of pluckery in question:

... and of course he then goes on to throw out words like belligerence, ignorance, and bigotry...

Where if -- to be brutally frank -- anyone with more than one brain cell to rub together would understand if I'm bigoted, it's against bigots. If I'm belligerent, it's against those who actively promote belligerence from pew and pulpit alike, and if I am ignorant, it is of how in the blazes anyone over the age of five can believe a single word of the noodle-doodle half-witted FAIRY TALE about a genocidal abusive maniac in the sky... who loves us all.

Oh sure, religion uses the WORDS love, tolerance, and enlightenment, but that's all it is. Words. What is actually peddled from the pulpit, promoted by the faithful, and to be found in whatever moldy old tome of fiction floats your boat is hatred, bigotry, and ignorance.

But no, speaking out against things that actively promote the evils of the world to manipulate the masses is bigoted and ignorant, of course it is.

Even the simplest of alleged "good" is a bald faced lie, little more than marketing and propaganda to get people in the door, so echo-chamber, bandwagon, and ritualistic indoctrination can compromise critical thinking. There is a reason it should be treated as a communicable mental disease, and the only reason it isn't is that the majority of people have it. What's the norm isn't a disorder, even if it should be.

Look no further than the ten commandments, the first of which is clearly ego-stroking for an insecure divine, three of which (including that first one) are nothing more than indoctrinational brainwashing, and the remainder of which the next 44 to 72 books (depending on your flavor of choice)[/i] gives you all the times it's ok to completely ignore them.

Remember, thou shalt not kill... well, unless it's a witch (Exodus 22:17), blasphemers (Leviticus 24:10-16), or they committed adultery (Leviticus 20:10, Leviticus 21:9) or a child who strikes their parent (Exodus 21:15), or curses their parents (Leviticus 20:9), or believe a different faith (Exodus 22:19, 2 Chronicles 15:12-13, Zechariah 13:3, Deuteronomy 17:2-5), entire towns -- destroying all the property and salting the earth -- if they don't stamp out the heretics in their mists (Deuteronomy 13:13-19), homosexuals (Romans 1:24-32, Numbers 1:48-51), people who work on the sabbath (Exodus 31:12-15), and don't even get me started about those who are not of the tribes.

But remember, at least Jesus said our slaves should be obedient and relish in their slavery because it helps their Christian owners. (Ephesians 6:5, Luke 12:47-48, 1 Timothy 6:1-2) keeping the tradition of the Old Testament (Exodus 21:damned near all of it!)

Wait... we can have slaves? What happened to "let my people go"?

Tell me again how "God" is love.

Nothing should make you an atheist or agnostic faster than reading the bible yourself with any measure of comprehension, morality, and decensy. As opposed to having someone with an agenda reading select passages to you once a week and wrapping it up with a bow made out of propaganda.

Hardly a shock then the most "devout" and "faithful" of "true believers" -- fundamentalists -- are in the "re-open everything now" camp, storming state capital buildings with their penis extensions, blocking ambulances and interfering with hospital operations, and more than willing to sacrifice YOUR health and your life all because they are currently inconvenienced.

Charity, compassion, tolerance, and sacrifice means NOTHING to these people; just like the faiths they follow. It is plainly evident that the more people believe -- or at least the louder they proudly proclaim said belief -- the more sociopathic and immoral they behave. You'd almost think the part of the brain that controls rational thought is commonly damaged both in religious extremists AND psychopaths.

    https://nypost.com/2017/05/08/brain-damage-is-linked-to-religious-extremism/

Again, a part of the brain I have a dangerous over-function of, hence my non-24 sleep-wake disorder and crippling headaches... and why I seem to be incapable of understanding faith. My reasoning skills and critical thinking won't allow for it. Though I freely admit I am often far, FAR too skeptical as a result. It also means I see through bullshit really, REALLY fast.

Hence the massive overlap of said demographic with the know-nothings who scream "FREEDOM" whilst waving Confederate flags, "RIGHTS" as they wave Nazi flags, "TOLERANCE" as they attack other faiths as if their own flavor of lie based hatred and bigotry is any better, and demand "RESPECT" when anyone finally gets pissed off enough to say "enough is enough" and call them out on their total lack of same.

It is for those reasons those who demand respect from others, typically have a history of behavior making them utterly unworthy of it.

JUST as we're talking the same crowd of nitwits who -- as I said in the other thread -- wave the flag the highest, stand tallest for the anthem, shame athletes who take a knee for same, recite the socialist indoctrinational pledge the loudest, all whilst ALWAYS being first in line to trample on everything those symbols are supposed to represent! They clearly don't believe in the ideals of this nation or the Constitution, mindlessly worshipping the name and some vague concept of "America" whilst not giving a single flying purple fish for what it's supposed to mean. That sure as the f*** isn't patriotism! That's idolatry.

Doesn't that moldy old tome with less legitimacy than Aesop and Grimm combined say something about idolatry? It's part of that ten step program, isn't it?

Worse they run around screaming that their faith is under attack... when if anyone started the fight it was the faithful, and honestly it is far past time that the entire concept was ground into a fine powder and scattered in the winds. It's ok for them to be narrow minded bigots attacking everyone else's beliefs or lifestyles -- because Jesus -- but don't you DARE go after them for same.

    No, that would be "bigoted".

When in reality what is manifesting is their unease if not outright lack of experience at having to defend their viewpoints. It's why the more strict the religion, the more bigoted it is and the more it actively promotes hatred of those not of the faith; the more they try to keep you in isolation from opposing viewpoints; the more they teach you to reject anyone or anything that contradicts the moldy old tome written by goat herders at a time where tin was a fancy rare metal sent by the divine. Don't make me start quoting the OT again!

See why Mormons have their missionary work; not to try and convert people to the faith, but to reinforce the idea that non-Mormon's are bad people to the young impressionable brainwashed youths they send out into the "cruel, cruel, immoral world". Hence why answering the door naked, or screaming in their face "take that book of Mormon and shove it so far up your self-righteous asses that you choke, soul soliciting pig f***ers" is EXACTLY what those who created that faith wanted. It reinforces the "us" and "them" mentality that is as much of the core of any religion as any alleged ideals and dogma they claim to aspire to. Hence if you treat those well dressed young folks on your doorstep like dirt, you're doing exactly what the Mormon faith wants of you.

If I am belligerent on these topics -- religion, conservatism, extremism both left and right, ludditism, pseudo-science quackery, conspiracy theorists, jade egg stuffers, bleach enemas as a cure for autism nuts, dirtbags who call themselves an avocado, and the Ice Capades -- it stems from the core message you'll find in all my posts on any topic: A deep rooted care for the well being of others, and an ingrained hatred of snake oil peddlers, carnival hucksters, and other such bald faced LIARS!.

If hating those things is "wrong", there's something wrong with your definition of decency, morality, and the definition of the word "wrong". This is probably why I consider evangelicals, televangelists and their flocks, and those waving around their overpriced AR platform knockoffs in public as penis extensions, saying "we must sacrifice a few to the virus" to be immoral indecent dirtbags.

See such wastes of flesh as the deep-south Pastors infecting their flocks, some even going so far as to cram them into buses to make sure they show up for when the collection plate is passed around. My care for others has me uncomfortable saying this, but the ones who have died from the virus whilst screaming just a week before that Jesus would protect them and their mental midget followers? Well, Karma's a b****.

Then we wonder why these same ignorant meatbags are out there saying the orange cheeto-fingered commander in half-tweet is the new savior. No mystery there, they're just looking for the latest and greatest demagogue to pander to their beliefs.

Hence my position on things like bootcrap, tailwind, react, vue.js, etc, etc. Garbage systems built entirely on a tissue of lies, by people unqualified to flap their yap on the topic of web development, and promoted through bandwagon, card-stacking, indoctrination, glittering generalities, and outright exploitation of the hopes, fears, and dreams of the ignorant.

Just as a preacher or other "believer" is rarely if ever qualified to open their ignorant traps on the subjects of decency, morality, or the nature of the universe. Again, they use the words, but are clearly and plainly unaware of the meanings behind them.

Bottom line, it's always comedy when bigots and their supporters try to cry "bigotry" whenever they're called out for their ignorant intolerant bullshit.

What was it George said? "I know I'm a primadonna! Hell, I admit it. That's what I can't stand about Monty... he won't admit it!"

But of course, oh noes, someone is being "confrontational" -- let's run crying to moderators because it contradicts our own preconceived bullshit. Wah wah wah. Then we wonder why places that do get thier knickers in a twist over discussions of such ideas end up little more than dens of suckups and sycophants where scam artists are allowed to run roughshod over the nubes and rubes, just so long as nobody uses any naughty words or "upsets" the status quo; much less call out the sleazy dirtbags for their dirtbaggery.

Whence "it's not what you said but how you said it" copout, used by those who cannot actually defend a viewpoint, and those who just want to keep on scamming others or deluding oneself.

See "confirmation bias" and "cognitive dissonance" for more.

Ah yes, the "noble" bigot. We should all feel free to label and categorize an entire group of people based on our prejudices and beliefs as to what they may or may not think. You also must be an "omniscient" bigot because you can, in fact, read their minds just because of the religion they practice. Must feel very good to be so superior and advanced as you hide in your cave.

These words are much better than the evil, derogatory words you use to describe people who practice religion. Instead, you always tend to produce word salads of nonsense (like much of the rest of this post) to cover up your insecurity and illogic (as all bigots suffer from.)

This Orwellian statement pretty much sums up the ensuing word salad of nonsense you that continued to ramble on and on about. You seem to think that volume of words (no matter how illogical they are) wins arguments. Or that words said vehemently have greater meaning. I am not going to argue or defend theology with you. I am just pointing out your ignorance and bigotry, which you cannot hide throughout this unappetizing word salad of nonsense that you continue to spew.

Another really "intelligent" statement from your endless stockple of fake "facts." I assume that you are a historical scholar who has studied people who demand respect from others. Or is this just another of your childish impressions of adults?

So now, our "noble bigot" is also a Constitutional scholar. Since you obviously feel that it is an important and good document, perhaps you can explain how the Constitution specifically allows government to shut down businesses (see the Contracts clause) and to limit freedom of assembly, freedom of religion (that horrible word) and other such freedoms that your heroes (the Swamp and its liberal politicians) are right now enforcing with armed police?

Another stunning example of bigotry and ignorance. You continue to make my case for me. No need for me to comment further on this part of your word salad nonsense. Bigotry is the generalization and denigration of any group of people based upon as specific characteristic. You have provided an example that could be used in the dictionary with this one. That's the thing about bigots, they simply cannot hide it, even when called out. By the way, all bigots feel that they are bigoted for "noble" or the "right" reasons. Goes with the territory. That is why our "noble bigot" is so amusing.

You need to stick to coding; however, if your code is as rambling and convoluted as your word salad screeds always are, maybe that is bad advice on my part.

Wow, you obviously cannot even read through and understand a thread. LOL, I doubt that the moderator or anyone else with at least sixth grade reading comprehension skills would not understand how this came down. Reread the thread and, if necessary, get someone to explain it to you.

Bottomline: no matter the rambling and vehement word salads you write henceforth, you have shown your biases and bigotry for all to see. Can't take it back and certainly can't justify it by continuing to denigrate entire groups of people you obviously know nothing about. Case closed.

If you understood a word I posted, you'd have noticed I take more issue with what those belie=fs make them do and how they treat others, than I do the beliefs themselves. The ACTIONS I have observed over the past 50 years by people who 'believe' is what has continually reinforced this impression of the faithful.

You don't need to read minds to see the hatred and intolerance -- much less destructive actions -- of those who believe in the genocidal maniac in the sky. We've got thousands of years of history to draw from. Much less the "truly devout" who end up in groups like Al Queda, NLFT, the Klu Klux Klan, and Westboro Baptist. Bastions of religion in its truest and most unabashed form.

The ACTIONS of the faithful prove that the words they use claiming to be good, don't mean a damned thing to those who believe.

Multiple times across your posts, you've proven yourself to be exactly the type of sleazy turd I'm talking about. You proved it right here:

In reference to my mentioning the deep south preachers and their disgusting practices, actively endangering their flock "because Jesus".

Your selecting that passage in particular speaks volume about your lack of moral fiber and flawed character; twirling your mustache like a cut-rate cartoon villian as you either:

    1) Are denying that preachers like Tony Spell and Gerald O. Glenn (RIP, couldn't happen to a more deserving person) aren't endangering society by saying the churches shouldn't close, or getting busses to make sure they show up for the collection plate. These are things that are happening. Disgusting, immoral, and outright criminal. Hiding behind "freedom" and "liberty" being nothing but failing to understand the inherent limits of either. Limits that are why murder, rape, theft, and other person on person crimes are illegal without being rights violations. Your rights end when you harm others.

If you're actually denying these things are happening, well... that's what I expect from the people who constantly say "fake news" whilst believing everything Faux News and the orange half-tweet say.

    2) You actually support these activities. In other words, you're admitting you are a sleazy immoral dirtbag utterly lacking in decency.

Basically, what every one of your statements in both these threads has you proudly proclaiming.

If I'm denigrating groups of people, it's the ones who are basically the REAL criminals in our society. Again, how dare I speak out against ignorance, sociopathy, and the general scum-bucket predators. Ok boomer, sure. Whatever.

You're defending the indefensible, and trying to protect the most evil aspects of our society. That you would call my statements evil being more than proof enough of that.

Bigotry is not open to justification, caveats and/or rationalizations. The supposed ends do not justify the means despite the fairy-tale clarifications you would propose. You have described all Evangelicals (and perhaps all Christians) as "wastes of flesh" more than once. In that regard, you join other such eminent thinkers as ISIS, the Chinese Communist Party, North Korea, and more such tyrannies in your hate of this group of individuals. And no amount of vehement, nonsensical ranting or name-calling will change the record of what you have written previously.

Depends on what the belief one is against amounts to. Are you saying being bigoted against neo-Nazi's, racists, fascists, and so forth is a bad thing too? You try to take me to task for blanket statements, and then follow up with one far, FAR more insidious than anything I've said.

When the defining beliefs of groups like evangelicals is a rabid hatred of anyone who doesn't fit their perfect view of straight white male, an intolerance of them and their bullshit is more than well founded. Particularly when they constantly attempt to assume a moral high ground their beliefs AND ACTIONS leave them utterly unentitled to. Making up excuses and railing against those calling out the immorality and indecency? Well, again calls into question your moral fiber and likely your reasoning skills.

When said group inherently and constantly behaves like those fascists you listed, is it wrong to be bigoted against them? That's nothing more than enabling... which is the problem with most faith-tards is they claim "but my faith isn't like that" as they treat "sinners" and "non-believers" like dirt. But HOW DARE anyone turn it back on them.

Though I recognize full well what you're spewing, the traditional "wah wah, is not" that avoids discussing the immorality and indecency of the groups you are defending. The traditional and time tested method of being impotent at forming a real defense. Magically those trying to stand up for justice and decency get labelled as evil as those they are fighting against, just because YOU happen to be one of the slime who supports their immoral, indecent, sociopathic bullshit.

Religions -- ALL OF THEM -- are based on lies that promote nothing more than ignorance and intolerance. This is plainly evident from the ACTIONS of such groups. If my intolerance of intolerance makes me a "bigot" in your eyes, well I'm fine and dandy with that! It's evident that you are exactly the type of immoral sociopath I'm entirely against.

It's better to be hating hate groups than it is hating someone for being gay, or for being poor, or for being crippled, or for being a unmarried pregnant woman, or for rejecting the bald faced lies of creationism, or any of the rest of the ignorant hate-mongering idiocy that is the bread and butter of mental-huffing-midgetry that is religion as a whole.
