Buy some good traffic advertising (ptc sites or even google adwords).

You need to optimize your site. Go for link building and do some SEO work. That should help.

I've just clicked your footer link, so by asking the question you've had a visitor you wouldn't otherwise have had.
What about submitting articles? I'm not a fan of PTC sites.

    Offline marketing.

Make up a quick A4 size ad, and go to local convenience stores and ask if you can post up your ad for free. Go to super markets, they always have a local bulletin board, take some thumb tacks and put up your ad on the LEFT SIDE of the board (we read left to right, they see your ad first). Google "your city name" business directory, add your website to the directory.

Make sure your website address is big and bold, maybe do the little pull off tab things so people can take a tab and put it in their pocket to look at when they get home.

SEO isnt always "king", try offline marketing ;)

 Are any of you dumbasses even on page one in a search for the most typed in keywords?

    I didn't think so.

Talking parrots, repeating what you hear from other talking parrots. Especially, you, gr8webseller. *chuckles* You don't know what in the hell you are even talking about.

It depands on what products you are selling. But as guys above mention, SEO is a good idea to promote your website.

For a new website, i would suggest you to find as mang information as you can, and see where they promote their website. Write dowm all of these informaiton. Make a plan to practise their promotive ways.

do you have a marketing budget at all? I have a client who has a fairly small e-commerce site and he only spends about 500 a month on marketing. He sales cycling accessories and we tried adwords but we didn't get a good ROI for his little budget. So I found niche websites that are particular to his target market, ie cycling forums, and paid very little amount for ad space and we noticed a much better ROI.

I visited your online shop and to be honest, it looks very generic and looks as if the design isn't quite complete yet. There are so many shops around that most people would probably ask "why should I buy here when I can buy it elsewhere?" - the thing that makes online shops different is the experience. If you're targeting for a particular market (say, mothers who like to buy little bits and pieces) dress your shop up to make it seem that way. Then hand out brochures OFFLINE that will take them to your online shop.

For a small shop like yours which sell a bit of everything, you're competing with the likes of Amazon, so you have to target a particular niche to make it really work.

SEO is a must but it will take time to rank your site. For the meanwhile add your product to shopping.com, shopzilla, nextag and all the shopping comparison sites you can find. Do some PPC on the products you make the biggest profit only and do some off line advertising.
