I was working on this logo for a friend last night and wanted to know what you guys think. It's a Haute couture women's fashion company. My question to real designers out there is, what do you think and how would you improve on this?
I like what you have done with the "Arrogant" font. Don't try and mix Serif and San-serif fonts in the logo... Use a nice san serif font for - Loves Original.... The visual (icon) is ok... no offense but the lady looks pregnant to me
I suspect you wanted to portray the girl with her left hand on her hip. But as Patrick said, she looks pregnant or just fat. Try to add negative space between the arm and body. Also, try to use Futura for "Loves Original".
Yeh i agree the Arrogant looks good but you need loves original in a san serif and the silhouette of the girl is kinda unflattering. But good start
I am not sure that the whole thing makes me want to buy into the idea, but think this has more to do with the name than the logo, which is not your issue. Agree it would look more professional with better matched fonts, and the graphic is a good idea not yet fully realised.
hems..... change the font and slogan lower case, and color text pink HEMS CEK HERE TO CRITERIA LOGO >> blacknwhitevector.blogspot.com/
It is pretty good except for the fact that the lady seems to be some garbage to throw in the bin, make it look more like a bag...
LMAO @ pratik, dude she totally looks pregnant! I would try to accomplish what Dimus is saying by adding some negative space between arm and body. I like the Arrogant text. clean is the way to be. Ooo yeah BABY GOT BACK!!!!!!
Definitely change the 'Loves Original' font. Try some nice sans serif one and also, if you decide to go with colour as some people suggested, be careful how you use it and which pallet you use. It can mess up your design completely. Usually, I leave my designs black and white whenever I'm not sure because I've seen what colour can do to a logo. Not a pretty site lol.
id also suggest a negative tracking for your logo typeface, keep it readable but narrow is sexy ^_^. despite the cries of the masses you can in fact blend serif and sans-serif but in this case I would suggest against it and go for an ultra sleek look to accentuate what I'm interpreting as your original goal. I'd say stay away from adventurous typefaces for this, go with a classic like avenir or myriad pro.
Adding a simple dress outline on the woman figure is probably the quickest fix for that issue. As for the text: perfection (slim letters with a touch of class with the change of font on second row: love it!)
Try to make A from lady which you show in your logo and please also change your font color from black to brown.
Brown?!? What planet are you on? Its funny sometimes how a logo that looks like it took about 30 seconds to make looks better than something which has had more time spent on it
