How could a Canadian get a USA credit card?

    True, RBC Centura is RBC's US division, but I thought their services were limited to only those from the US.

    I'll probably call them on Monday to get the details. I'll look into Bank of America possibly as well.

    A friend of a friend who has been a lawyer for 50 years has established credit in the US because of his excellent credit history in Canada, yet he doesn't have a US ssn. I think he was able to get US credit cards because of that as well as being a homeowner in the US. I guess there are certain perks yeah? You just have to try & apply and see what they say.

    Are there any other banks that can check Canadian credit history, if you're in the US?
