How competitive is this keyword?

I don't want to say the keyword, but it has 1.9 million results in Google.
It had 55,000 searches per month based on Overture.
The first result has 200 backlinks pointing to it.
The rest of the results seem to be just deep links(articles, etc). The second result has no backlinks pointing to it. The 3rd and 4th have around 25 backlinks.
Each of the first 5 results have a pagerank of 5 or less.

How competitive is this keyword?

 

Sounds pretty easy to me.

Pagerank tells you nothing about the competitveness of the page for particular keyword

 

Did you used google, or yahoo to count backlinks?

 

The KW KEI approx. 1800, and yes, that means that it is worth trying to go for high rankings.

Everything that has a KEI over 100 is worth trying for

I have a lot of keywords with KEY over 10k ... and they are not on any "high paying keywordlist". If the keyword is on any of these lists, they will soon be useless to try going for.
