How come when I check my page rank I get 4 but the toolbar shows 0

When I check my page rank with some sites it is showing 4, but someothers, most importantly when I look at my toolbar on my own site, it shows 0. Is this a case of different data centers? Should I expect my toolbar to start showing 4 soon?

I think there is no point in re-installing. Use http://www.seologs.com/pr-check/pagerank-dc.html to find out your actual page rank on different DCs, because you site may have PR0 at the datacenter, wherefrom your toolbar retreives the result.

I seem to suffer your same fate, LennyP. However, results are what we are after and I am positioned on the first page in several search criteria.

Perhaps, the toolbar requires a backend update run once a month. Any theories out there?

Maybe, I know after the recent update my site http://www.Lucidly.com is PR 5 on 62/70 of datacenters that I've checked (with one of those page rank check on all the datacenters things). One of the 8 that is not a 5 on is the toolbar. As with my tool bar www.lucidly.com shows a PR 0.

PS- Would you guys mind checking this for me too, if you go to "www.lucidly.com" do you see PR 5 or PR 0 in the tool bar?

Hate to say it but it is zero.

Anybody a Joan Armatrading fan..."You step lightly thinking you're number one; Down to zero with a word; Leaving
    for another one".

    lucidly: It's a PR5 for me.

    Lenny: try this.

    1. on your PC go to: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
    2. right click and open your hosts file with notepad or word
    3. under:
    127.0.0.1 localhost
    add:
    72.14.221.81 toolbarqueries.google.com
    4. save file and close.

Open a new browser window you should see the toolbar updates from that dc.

Tried the advice from diostebendiga and it did not change anytihng. The seologs tool gave me all 0's. The pther tool gave me all 4's except for 3 o's. I guess my biggest question is do I say my site is pr4 or pr0?
