How come the PR of this site is 6

    I notice the PR of "www.2yi.net" is 6.
    So I search the its backlinks from google. I haven't found anything from resutls. It only has less than 40 backlins
    So why the pr is so hign?

    Because it has high quality backlinks. By the way, 40 backlinks displayed in google search is not too bad.

This will give you the results of the most popular search engines, or use this other great tool, http://www.marketleap.com/publinkpop/default.htm.. Otherwise you you can try http://www.linkvendor.com/seo-tools/domain-popularity.html, both tools give a lot of backlinks to the domain, including; 277xPR0 5xPR1 9xPR2 15xPR3 23xPR4 6xPR5 1xPR7 links to the domain,.

    And you can check if pagerank is verified here.. http://www.database-search.com/sys/pre-check-en.php

    So it's a pr6 website to me..

    There are definetely PR6 directories that are making much more than 5000$ per month, however those directories have been around for a long time and have a good brand name and good traffic. Personally I am not anywhere near this figure currently, and I don't think that I will reach it for quite some time (if ever).
