I had a site setup a while ago called studentloanrelief.org. after getting some hits i wanted to upgrade it a bit. I never really noticed that is was indexed as "index.html" and not the title of the page. Any ideas why this might be and how long it takes to change?

The only reason Google would do this is if you're missing the title tag in your <head> section. Or maybe it doesn't like the 3-letter title tag you have right now "slr".

I just checked the site and title says "slr". Make it more descriptive and put something on your description as well.
