Hi, Im trying to figure out, why my website does not show up when i search it on google. Ive tried submission through creating an account. But is it something to do with time lags? does it take a long time for google to crawl my site? its been about 3days since i put it up. And also, does the domain affect the crawl rate? e.g. www.hello.com opposed to say www.hell.0catch.com Any comments will be helpful thank you thanks.
You will have to wait longer that 3 days to have your domain listed on google. try getting a link in a pr4 site or better and you will get listed in a couple of weeks.
If hello.com is brand new, it should take a while. However, if 0catch.com is already indexed and you're trying to get a subdomain from that domain indexed, it shouldn't take too long.
yes you need to wait for much longer then a few days. Try to get links, links in forums, blogs and also some traffic is good. Thanks for the tips moose i made a small blog about it
Should have some backlinking for it to be indexed fast. Even after having backlinks u need to wait for a while ( depending how frequently the sites to which ur site is backlinked is travelled by Google robot)
Hi, I put a new site up about two weeks ago and it still is not listed in google and at first i was voicing the same concerns as you, but don't worry just get decent backlinks, submit to some directories, I wrote a review about my site on a blog site, and try to get a couple of good pr links say pr4 or pr5 but don't get hung up on paying big money for pr8's and 9's. your site will be indexed just be patient. hmm i dont know some times its takes my pages like 2 days to get listed others it takes ages, some times up tot a month or more...
