I have this site: http://www.e-lephant.org which has about 3K page-views daily but i am not making any money... it's soo annoying... i am making 1$ a day tops... how come ?!?! Any advises ?!
Does your site being hosted? If it does maybe there's a little wrong about your site. As what I have seen on your website there a little need for you to add you must add google adsense and adwords or adbrites and let do people comment on your site. Because it is also a way or earning money. And it also away of topping the search engines.
Hi dude. me too having the same problem with my website. I'm having Google Pagre Rank of 3 but not able to earn anything from this site. I was wondering how others earning even with PR1. Please give me some suggestions please.
First of all where your traffic coming from? If you really are getting 3000 visitors a day you have to question the quality of visitors coming to your site. Secondly you are in a very competitive niche. Movies and music is a tough way to make money on the Internet unless you do it correctly. You might try adding content to help people in the form of a blog or fresh articles. Give away something of value and capture their name and email addresses for future follow via an autoresponder. Let people get to know you and build relationships with them. Then you can take some of the business away from other websites such as Blockbuster or Netflix.
get some cpa ads man, pop up ones....or do it like when the download of a film is compleate ask them to enter their email ..which will be a cpa program ,and i think you can be payed upto $1 per email ....its great man ..or just sell it ...its great
Interesting you are getting 3k a day yet google has never heard of you. That is a problem, if you are getting 3k a day then you spent a decent amount of money. Now if you went with ad sense you should be getting a better conversion rate than that but I am guessing that you went with some one else. It looks like you went with a fraud system, either banner or other. My guess is you have the majority of your page views have no human component behind them just an auto surf for the hits.
@kbeus21 I haven't "Went" with anyone... my site is providing users with downloads for the site's program... which is very useful for downloading from share hosts... try looking google for: (E)Lephant.... you will find many posts and links to our site from the other sites.... @offevil I wouldn't like to annoy my users.... @jschuman -. Well, actually it is a sharing community where people can register and add posts... they can also comment on posts [just that nobody does that for some very weird reason!] -. About the quality of my users.... THEY ARE ALL LEECHERS !!! FFS non of them are trying to help the community... most of them are just taking the downloader and that's it... @malfumos Adsense earned me about 45$ in the first 2 weeks... but than they sent me an e-mail about me having some illegal copyrights breaking pages on my site and told me that it's blocked... than i sent them an email asking if i can place their ads only on clean pages... no reply.
you must have a low conversion rate on visits which is alright if you're offering content for free. work more on ads, placement, colors etc. etc. or work on other ways to monetize that traffic: affiliate, cpa or cpl with other products. good luck!
I'm going to say the same thing. Try to make your ads blend better. Integrating ads in a clean fashion gets more clicks thus imroving CTR and income. Are you trying to earn money through conversions or just ad clicks? Banners do not pull a CTR as high as text ads and I only see banner ads on the site. You might want to make the site a bit less loud and confusing. Softening it up will lend itself to keeping people looking rather than finding the exit. Cheers
I echo the suggestions above. Put in CPA stuff, adsense to bring in more money to your website. Daily traffic of 3k is a lot. Do you know where the traffic is coming from? Do you check your google analytics daily?
My blog is getting page views of around 300-500 daily and visitors about 200. But i'm getting only lesser than .10 $ in google adsense. I saw that my page impressions are around 300 n geting 1 or 2 clicks like that. any way to earn through my blog ? What is a good CTR ?!? how much ?! last week: [top ad] I have around: 0.880% CTR, 24,434 Impressions. Earned only 6.7$ ..... And please top sending me to adsense - they have blocked my site.
